Child Profile: Child Profile Health Promotion mailings are sent to the families of all children aged birth to 6 years born in Washington. They provide important health and safety information. If you aren’t already receiving Child Profile, you can be added to the system by your health care provider or sign up directly.

Graduation, Reality and Dual-Role Skills (GRADS): This state program for pregnant and parenting teens, administered by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, includes on-site child care and practicums, as well as coordination of learning activities outside the classroom. Students demonstrate skills leading to high school graduation and economic independence.

Getting School Ready!: This helpful guide shares tips on what you and your child should know about to succeed in kindergarten. It’s available for free in limited quantities and online in Cambodian, Chinese, English, Korean, Oromo (mp3 only), Russian, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog and Vietnamese.

Parent Trust for Washington Children: Parent Trust provides education and support services for families throughout Washington state. Parent Trust also manages the free Family Help Line (800) 932-4673.

WithinReach: It can be hard to focus on love, talk and play, when you’re worried about rent, food and health care. WithinReach is a nonprofit organization connecting families to essential health resources through 4 statewide hotlines; ParentHelp123.org, an interactive website that helps families find and apply for programs and local services available to them; and WashingTeenHelp, a website that connects pregnant and parenting teens to health information, state benefit programs, and community-specific support resources.
